We learn some Intarsia (Marquetry) techniques.
I played Legos with my almost 5 year old little boy. He wanted to build a really tall building, so he got out all of his Legos and other blocks.

My father...he is not a farmer, but we were visiting friends on their farm.
KATE, LAS VEGAS
I cleaned my pantry.
Today I'm going to monkey forest where I will be feeding bananas to...well...monkeys of course. That is if I can convince them not to try to snatch my daughter's bottle like last time. :P (Bali, Indonesia)
After a fun, weekend bout of food poisoning, we officially started phase 1 of "Cupcakes for Haiti" I had a wonderful pajama-clad, bed-headed baking assistant on hand - so things ran very smoothly!
I am watching the Olympics by handy phone furtively at work. I am so proud that we got a medal at Male figure skating for the first time.
