SARAH, GEORGIA
Our family room is my favorite room right now. Because I love the pictures on our mantle. Though that's not how I envision having it arranged permanently. I just got the prints a couple of weeks ago and slapped them up there because I was so excited to see how they looked. But I also love our family room because it's where we watch movies together; it's where my kids build forts with the couch cushions; it's where we have toasty fires in the winter; it's the first room we enter when coming in the back door and the last room we leave before going somewhere.
ROCIO, BORDER OF MEXICO
This weekend we are celebrating my daughter's birthday.
SONYA, THE NETHERLANDS
My kitchen. It's so small and I only have those two small counter tops..but I love it just the same.
LOLA, UTAH
The kitchen is technically my favorite room in the house, but it is undergoing a makeover AND I'm also not home to photograph it. A CLOSE second favorite (especially as of late) is the bathroom. I am LOVING nice relaxing baths to help make my back feel better these days, and also love time spent in there with Kort. We have combined reading time with bath time over the past two years and it's amazing how that simple act fills our main bath with good feelings and great memories!
CAROLINE, ENGLAND (UK)
Is MY room ~ because for the first time in many years I have a BIG room, I can keep tidy, that's pretty and I don't share it with a study!! YEAH!!
KAT, AUSTRALIA
The dining room. Where the entire family..and all the food is located. My favourite.
RIKAKO, JAPAN
There is no favorite room in our house. This is a room that we had stayed in resort hotel of Okinawa. My dream room...

5.28.2010 "MY PHONE"
BUCKEROOMAMA, HONG KONG
This is the exact twin of the phone that I'd lost. That could have been my chance to get an iPhone, but I'm just too much of a stick-in-the-mud to ever switch from Nokia. I don't use my phone beyond calls and text messaging, so I don't really need the fancy apps that the other models might have.
BECKY, PHILADELPHIA
Did you think I had a cool iphone? No way. Gary has one and truly, we can only afford one for our family : ). I have a cheap Samsung Propel. It works just fine. Kaish keeps telling me he needs one... Can you even believe that? What 10 year old needs a phone?
LOLA, UTAH
See all the dings and scratches? Yeah, I'm pretty hard on cell phones! I even dropped this little baby in a bucket of window washing suds last week and she's still kickin'! Ha ha! I also CONSTANTLY drop it on asphalt when getting out of my car. It's a good little phone. I especially love that the main screen gives me a 3 day forcast. Looks like nasty weather ahead for Springville this weekend...luckily, we ran away to the desert and are enjoying high 80s instead! Yay! So THERE Utah!
RIKAKO, JAPAN
It is getting old. I want to buy new iPhone! Sorry to my hubby, the photo is my favorite Japanese actor.

5.27.2010 "MY FAVORITE SHOES"
SUKI, GERMANY
My converse are my favourite shoes ever!
TEZZIE, FINLAND
Yep...I'm all about comfort :D
SARAH, GEORGIA
OK, well, obviously these are not MY shoes :) But they are pretty cute! It's been a little busy around our house, so I found the most recent picture that had shoes in it. These are Connor's new kicks -- and they squeak! They're great. I always know where he is because I can hear him squeaking around the yard or through the house. Don't worry, when it gets too annoying, the squeakers can come out!
ROCIO, BORDER OF MEXICO
Converse Rock!!! Don't you think?
RIKAKO, JAPAN
New sandles for this summer. I fell in love with flower prints of LIBERTY fabric.
BECKY, PHILADELPHIA
Let's hear it for girls and pretty shoes!
I am going out with my best friends Jen and Marsha tonight.
Super excited.
Can't wait to see Carrie and her girls!
Which Sex and the City girl are you?
I am none of those girls but I love them anyway : )
CAROLINE, ENGLAND (UK)
...No explanation needed here!
BUCKEROOMAMA, HONG KONG
If it's just for short trips out, without much walking involved, these are my favorite shoes lately. They give me that extra lift --literally!

5.26.2010 "TODAY"
BUCKEROOMAMA, HONG KONG
We had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant called Saigon. This was their menu. It's so pretty!
CAROLINE, ENGLAND (UK)
This Chafer Beetle paid us a visit! Apparently he'll eat my lawn ~ which is full of weeds ~ so happy munching!! ;)
LOLA, UTAH
I went to my niece's show choir concert. It was so cute! (She's the darling one on the far right.) The theme was "Spring Celine" and it was all Celine, all the time, and very entertaining! Good job Jojo!
BECKY, PHILADELPHIA
RIKAKO, JAPAN
We went to Coppice to meet the nature deer, but it was not possible to meet this time.
SARAH, GEORGIA
Watched Connor experience his first water fountain. He was very tickled at the water coming up and splashing him in the face -- it was so cute!
SONYA, THE NETHERLANDS
Today instead of plucking the weeds, I took photos of them.
SUKI, GERMANY
The weather is gorgeous and hot lately, so off we went to the canal to let the dogs have a bath.
TEZZIE, FINLAND
Today, I need the warm weather to return...and a pot of gold wouldn't be all wrong, either! LOL

5.25.2010 Tuesdays Around The World! "My Cozy Corner"
This is going to be the last "themed" Tuesdays Around the World for a little while. We feel like it may be too much work to try to photograph and blog about a specific theme, and we SO enjoy seeing your unique "Todays." So, the theme for EVERY Tuesday Around the World this June is going to be: (You guessed it.)
But as for today's final theme, we're talking about cozy corners. Even if your post isn't necessarily ABOUT a cozy corner, go ahead and link up anyway so we can see what's going on in YOUR little slice of the world today! We love visiting!
BECKY, PHILADELPHIA
My Cozy Corner is right there on the side of the playground. I sit there at the end of the day while Kaishon and Shoshi jump and play and I look thru my magazines to be inspired. It's a blessed life for sure!
'The windows of my soul I throw
Wide open to the sun.'
~John Greenleaf Whittier
SUKI, GERMANY
Would definitely either the tub or my bed. I went for the tub today :) So relaxing and cozy.
TEZZIE, FINLAND
This is where all of the photo editing and blogging magic happens, usually with my cat Molson warming my neck :D
TRESSA, NORWAY
BUCKEROOMAMA, HONG KONG
We don’t exactly have a cozy corner per se in the house, but with the husband pillow, my cozy corner could be anywhere I choose to plop down my "husband –by the window seat, on "the bed, on the floor...
LOLA, UTAH
The big red chair! It's EVERYONE's cozy corner at our house. We read here with Kort in the mornings, and Kort has a lot of cuddles there with his dogs after school.I love it because our entire family (yes, dogs included) can sit (and fit) on there all at the same time with a reasonable level of comfort.
RIKAKO, JAPAN
Sofa in the living room. To watch TV and read the book by lying in this sofa can be relaxing.
What does YOUR cozy Corner look like? Link up and show us!

5.24.2010 "TODAY"
SARAH, GEORGIA
I took some pictures of my little model :)
SONYA, THE NETHERLANDS
Today I got up-close and personal with some geese
TRESSA, NORWAY
Today it felt as if Summer has finally arrived to Norway.... Holiday here... kids out playing... HEAVEN
TEZZIE, FINLAND
My feet (as well as my smiley muscles) are still sore from the 'meet and greet' all day yesterday, during the exhibition showing some of the work we've done this past year...that would be my chair in the middle, btw..
ROCIO, BORDER OF MEXICO
Today my oldest son is getting school awards. We are so proud of him...♥♥♥
RIKAKO, JAPAN
Splendid daikon radish that my father grew.
How shall I cook? Maybe salad and stewed dishes.
BUCKEROOMAMA, HONG KONG
I practiced face-painting on Zoë and Josh, because I'm helping out a friend at her daughter's birthday party.
CORNELIA, SOUTH AFRICA
This picture provides my excuse for being so quiet lately. It is exam time! I hope to post more frequently soon...just need to survive this first! ;-)
EMILY, ITALY
We're counting the days until the pool opens this summer!
KAT, AUSTRALIA
I re-edited an old image. And fell in love with it. All. Over. Again.
LOLA, UTAH
Today I'm still smiling about Kortland asking to read "the funnies" together on the big red chair. And I'm still smiling about his boxer-shorts/black church socks/new running shoes ensemble. And I'm still smiling when I think of the ever-loyal Miss Bella, who is always longing to be close to her boy. And I'm still smiling every time this crazy baby kicks, and wiggles, and rolls around in my belly, and I get the welcomed reminder that he is healthy and well. Just a lot of smiling today...I guess. Lots and lots of smiling.
BECKY, PHILADELPHIA
Today Kaish and I babysat my 2 year old nephew Levi. He is the cutest thing. So much energy... some days I forget how much energy little people have. Wowza!

5.21.2010 "MY GOAL THIS YEAR"
ROCIO, BORDER OF MEXICO
My Goal this year is to ride my bike every morning...ε(●̮̮̃•̃)з
BUCKEROOMAMA, HONG KONG
I hope to get back to doing more hikes this year. There are many nice hiking trails in Hong Kong, but I need to be more fit to take on many of these.
TEZZIE, FINLAND
My main goal this year is to improve my photography skills...one way that I've decided to do this is by participating here at Communal Global (yay!), and also in a 365 challenge where I post a picture every day, each with a different theme...as a little extra challenge, I'm trying my best to produce original photographs for each of 'my' sites. If you'd like to check out my 365 project, please go to http://napp-365.blogspot.com
CAROLINE, ENGLAND (UK)
...is to spend more time taking time!
RIKAKO, JAPAN
My goal this year is keep taking photos for communal global!!
KAT, AUSTRALIA
Is to save up for a new lens. A f/1.8 55mm lens. Of course however, this requires actually SAVING, not spending. Unfortunately my brain does not recognize this and i think it will be a few pay-days before i can get it...
BECKY, PHILADELPHIA
My goal this year is to get one picture in a magazine. Any magazine at all. Of course, if I got my picture in Life magazine I would die of happiness...so let's hope that does not happen!
